Group placement disclaimer

Please note that group placement is not guaranteed on the basis of age alone. Cognitive and social skills are also taken into consideration when placing your child. Children develop differently and need to learn in a stress free and fun environment. Some children may stay in the same group for more than one term in order to best meet his/her educational and emotional needs.

+ Bunnies & Butterflies

This is our youngest group ranging from ages
1 to 2. In this group the children are introduced to various art medias, music and literature both in English and Swedish. Fundamental social skills are also developed using the Second Step Program.

+ Cats & Puppies

This group ranges from ages 1 ½ to 2 ½. This group offers the children a bilingual continuation of art, music, literature and social skill development. Small motor skill challenges, allowing for personal independence, are introduced.

+ Foxes

This group ranges from ages 3 to 4. Bilingual activities in art, music, literature and behavior strategies are offered. Phonic skills, using the Jolly Phonic System, are taught in both English and Swedish. Simple letter combinations to form words are explored. Pre-math skills and good work habits are also developed.

+ Ladybugs

+ Cows

This group is for age 4. Bilingual activities in art, music, literature, letter and number activities are highlighted. Children will learn the calendar (days of the week and months) and enjoy once a week field trips. Baking, in class movement activities and attention on the development of fine motor skills are also offered.

+ Frogs

This group ranges from ages 5 to 6. Bilingual activities in pre-reading skills, addition/subtraction skills and the calendar/seasons are the focus. Children’s fine motor skills and social skills using Second Step are developed. Once a week field trips, with the Frog Group, are also enjoyed.
